2 months ago I moved in to a house, 5 feet from the house is a large tree, that is full of rats I have a patio furniture and rats walking round in my chairs, I call the owner like a month and a half ago to tell that there rats in the tree, since that day that does not answer the phone call, so i call to the home owner association and they told me that the tree is very close to the house and is the owner responsibility, my question is, the owner really has to take care of the rats or i have to? I have 2 daughters, 2 and 5 years old and a dog What do recommend to kill rats? Thank you so much!!

The house is a big white plantation style (imagine Tara from Gone with the Wind) and I cant decide on the color. The shutters are black, but there arent any in the backyard. I cant decide if I want something colorful like blue or red, or if black would look better and a tad more elegant (as much as plastic can do that…lol!).HELP!!!
